The Fellowship Committee finds effective ways to welcome and include visitors, to incorporate new members into our family, and to help us all know each other better. Social events help us move from strangers to friends to family in Christ.

The Church Picnic is held annually in a nearby park after worship on a June Sunday.

Hosanna Family Christmas is held from 5-8 p.m. usually on the 3rd Sunday of Advent. The sanctuary is cleared of seats and set up for a potluck feast. A brief program follows, concluding with carol singing around the Christmas tree.

Our Slo-pitch Ball Team participates in the Edmonton Lutheran Mixed Slo-Pitch League. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for fun and fellowship to any interested men or women aged 14 years or older. The slo-pitch season generally runs from May to August with one game per week (Monday-Thursday) and a weekend tournament to end the season. Experience playing ball is not a prerequisite for joining the team!

Luther Place Seniors meet at 4 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, September to June, for a meeting and supper together. Other special events are held throughout the year.
